AMSA Action Committees are working to fight for abortion care rights across the nation by educating, supporting, and encouraging local chapters to reach out to legislators. On Women’s Equality Day, August 26, join this nationwide advocacy campaign to show our Representatives that medical students are united to protect our patients.

Dedicated to the late Paul Ambrose, AMSA’s Outstanding Student Activist Award recognizes students who have taken the lead in their schools or communities to promote health, peace, and social justice. Nominate a student by Sept 9!  The awardee will be invited to the 2022 Health Activist Dinner at the American Public Health Association meeting on Sunday, November 6, in Boston.
